If you are planning on getting ready at another location, away from your home on your wedding day, there are a few things you should think to take along just in case. So we thought we would give you a check list to help you make your getting ready go more smoothly. 

Wedding Day Check List:

  • Small Scissors
  • Antacid 
  • Antihistamine
  • Aspirin
  • Baby Powder
  • Band-Aids 
  • Bobby Pins or Elastics 
  • Breath Mints
  • Brush, Comb, Hairspray, or Gel   
  • Bug Spay or Sunblock 
  • Chalk (to cover stains)
  • Chap stick or Lipstick 
  • Contact Information of all Vendors
  • Copies of directions to Wedding Venue
  • Copy of your vows
  • Curling Iron or Flat Iron
  • Deodorant 
  • Duck Tape 
  • Extra Buttons
  • Extra Ear Backs
  • Extra Pantyhose 
  • Eye Drops
  • First Aid Kit
  • Flat Shoes (in case your feet hurt)
  • Hand Lotion
  • Hem Tape
  • Iron or Steamer
  • Lint Brush
  • Makeup Remover 
  • Makeup
  • Masking Tape or Sewing Tape
  • Nail Polish
  • Perfume 
  • Phone Chargers
  • Phone Numbers of all Wedding Participants

I know this is a long list, and some of these things might seem quite silly to take along, but if you want to be prepared it would be a good idea to take it along. Remember, rather have it and not need it, than need it and not have it.

I too am creating such a check list for my wedding reception party and the internet has been helping me a lot with the preparations. I have booked one of the best event halls for rent for our big day and everything is going to be so much fun in our family wedding. Can’t wait!
